Privacy Policy

In case of user accidental deletion or loss of video files, back up copies of the video tapes dropped off are kept for 14 days after pick up. After 14 days they are deleted.

If you require a back up copy of your video tapes to be kept longer prior to pick up or for any general enquiries let us know!

Prohibited Content

We strictly do not accept, copy, convert or digitally transfer videotapes containing any of the following:

• Pornographic or sexually explicit material: Including adult entertainment, nudity of a sexual nature or sexually explicit recordings.
• Illegal content: Any material that violates applicable Australian laws, including recordings depicting child sexual abuse or other unlawful activities.
• Extremist or radical material: Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, radicalisation or unlawful extremist activities.
• Violence or harmful content: Material that promotes, glorifies, encourages or instructs acts of violence, abuse, cruelty or harm towards others.
• Hate speech or discrimination: Content that incites violence, hatred or unlawful discrimination against individuals or groups.
• Other prohibited material: Any content that promotes criminal activities or is otherwise unlawful to possess, reproduce or distribute.

Customer Responsibility

By submitting videotapes for conversion, customers confirm that their recordings do not contain any of the prohibited material outlined above and that they have the necessary rights or permissions to have the recordings copied or converted.

Right to Refuse Service

AP Video Tape Conversions reserves the right to refuse, suspend or discontinue any conversion service where prohibited content is identified or reasonably suspected.

If prohibited material is discovered during the conversion process, the service may be stopped immediately.
